Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Anna Gunn is an American actress. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before taking on film and television roles. Anna's first big part was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the audio drama podcast series of four parts called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. The story of Breaking Bad is dependent on the relationships between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The decline of their relationship is akin to Walter White's last days.
